If an online meeting starts at 9:00, what time do you log in? 8:50? Or do you click in right at 9:00 on the dot? This week on English Cafe, John and Angel discuss how different cultures understand “time.” It turns out that being “on time” is defined quite differently in different places! In this episode, Angel also shares real observations from pre-flight check-ins in the aviation industry. When everyone agrees to gather at the same time, some people are seated half an hour early, while others walk in at the very last moment. Can you guess which region’s colleagues arrived last? The answer might surprise you!
